Branch Meetings
Regularly scheduled meetings are open to the public and are generally held at 9:30 AM on the second Tuesday of each month, from September to May. Branch meetings are usually held at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church at the intersection of Field Club Road and Fox Chapel Road.  Notice of the meetings can be found in the local newspaper, giving the time, location, speaker and the topic to be presented.  You can also email the branch president for more information:

Our Branch meetings are open to anyone interested in attending.  For childcare, call Sharon at Little Blessings, FC Presbyterian Church, (412) 963-8243, a curriculum-based program for 1-5 year olds at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church to ask if space is available.  Reservations are a must.

Board Meetings
Regularly scheduled working Board Meetings are open to all members and are held at 9:30 AM on the first Tuesday of the month.  They are generally held at Panera Bread in the Waterworks shopping mall on Freeport Road.

Special Interest Groups
The branch sponsors interest groups for members which meet on a monthly basis.  These include: Arts & Entertainment, Book Group, Bridge Group, Bridging Generations, Education Action Committee, Mid-Day Movies, Out-To-Lunch-Bunch, Vision Screening and Women in Stitches.  See the Calendar.

Community Service
Branch members regularly perform community service, including vision screening for preschoolers in our area, reading to elementary school classes, and the collection of items needed by shelters and other organizations serving women and children.

Please plan to attend our last meeting before summer break.  At this festive tradition we will install our officers, present our annual awards, and enjoy a pot luck brunch with friends “old” and new together.  We will install 2012-2013 incoming officers: Alice Scott– President; Janice Barrington– Financial Officer; Paula Hiteshew– Vice President Membership, and Lois Folino, Vice President Development.

Our presentations are:  Woman of the Year Award- Janet Ummer; Teal Award- Janice Barrington; Friend of Equity Award– students and faculty at Carlow University who are responsible for Dionne’s Project for Safe Relationships; and Chatham Women Ready-To-Lead Awardees.

Tuesday, October 11: Marcellus 101, Barb Hall, a chemist with Test America, Inc. and one of the founding members of Marcellus Shale Coalition.
Tuesday, November 8: I.E.P. Secrets: that your school isn’t telling you. Lori Breen, Author, Mother, Lawyer, Educator, Author, Consultant discusses Autism issues.

Tuesday, January 10: Al Mann, President of the East End/East Liberty Historical Society, author of Images of America: Pittsburgh’s East Liberty Valley will discuss the History of East Liberty, which was the “Wealthiest suburb in America.” He will discuss not only the history of the East Liberty Valley but he will also touch on topics such as East Liberty as the epicenter of commerce and capitalism and the interconnection of East Liberty to the Fox Chapel Area.
